In 10 days time it will be 3 MONTHS since I ordered the 'bracket kit' from the Melbourne Bicycle Centre in Clifton Hill, VIC, Australia. I telephoned the helpful Mr Greg Chalberg from Shimano today; he confirmed that the part is in stock & that it's a simple matter of ordering "from any bike shop in Australia." I'd amend that a little to "any bike shop EXCEPT for the Melbourne Bicycle Centre." In the past week, since I first started this weblog & emailled the Melbourne Bicycle Centre, I have received one brief 3 line response about "my case" - but STILL NO ACTION!
I had hoped that a posting to the
Not Good Enough website might have prompted them a little, but no such luck. I'm unfortunately reaching the conclusion that I'll need to lodge a complaint with Consumer Affairs Victoria.
